Shahin Issac Bina, DDSDirectorDr. Bina has been working with over 40 offices in southern CA for the past 15 years and have experienced first hand the problems dentists face in restoring dental implants, frustrations, and loss of revenue from downfalls of this otherwise excellent treatment option for their patients. Dr. Bina loves teaching and has taught at NYU, School of Dental Medicine as a clinical instructor. He has established Bina Dental Institute, to offer courses to General dentist to better advance their knowledge and clinical skills.

Dr. Shahin Bina majored in biochemistry during his undergraduate studies, researching in surgery (kidney transplants) at SUNY Health Care Center, Department of Surgery, and researching in Dentistry at the Department of Oral Biology and Pathology. Dr. Bina attended dental school in Stony Brook, NY, and graduated in 1994. During college, he was a recipient of the President’s Undergraduate Excellence Award from the university’s president.
He is a member of several professional organizations, including:
- American Dental Association
- Los Angeles Dental Society
- Academy of General Dentistry (Fellow)
- International Congress of Oral Implantologists (Fellow)
Dr. Bina is a family man, spend as much time he can with his wife have two children; his hobbies include skiing and riding his motorcycle, and he is considering trying gliding sometime soon!
