Introduction to Advanced Implant Restorations

This course is uniquely designed doctors who are currently performing Single units, short span implant-supported bridges, and want to gain experience in restoring full arch implant-supported prosthesis. These restorations vary from implant-supported removable overdenture prothesis, to full arch solid Zirconia implant prosthesis.
Our main objective of this course is for doctors to learn the difference between various implant parts as well as techniques needed for impression taking and to fabricate those prosthesis. when each technique is necessary or required, what are the best temporary restorative options available to choose from, and understanding the restoration of multiple implant procedures along guided surgery, protocols and case plannings.

 

By the end of this course you will be able to:

  • Multiple implants restorative planning and the restorative implications.
  • Understand multi-unit abutment concept.
  • Understand basic concept on choosing the right abutment angulation.
  • Know the torque requirement for multi-unit abutments.
  • Know the difference between choice of materials: Zirconia, Hybrid, PMAA.
  • Understand various restorative options and their pros/cons.
  • To have better understanding of choosing the best restorative option for your patients.
  • Temporary restorative options.
  • Overview and discussion of guided surgery and working with your surgeon to design cases.
